The Uzbek rubob was made around 1960 in the city of Termez, on the border of Uzbekistan and Afghanistan, then it was restored by one of the best masters of Uzbekistan in the city of Samarkand. Rubob is made of mulberry wood and richly decorated with mother-of-pearl. It was a long journey to become an owner of this instrument.
