We will be listing literally hundreds of matchbox and similar cars and trucks over the next few months as we dispose of the estate of a long time collector. All items from that collector are new/unused. To easily find them do a search for items under this seller ID and “(EC)” in the description. Of course we’d be delighted if you’d look at our other items for sale as well — but if you’re specially interested in this genre it’s a huge collection.

That means that if something doesn’t sell at a price we are willing to sell it, it could be a very long time (or never) before it gets relisted. At some point the products will shift to an alternate selling platform or be donated or simply we’ll choose not to sell. Don’t assume it will be relisted and available again.***

Returns: we accept postage paid returns only if the item is not as described. We do not refund shipping costs. For any item listed as “free shipping” any return allowed will include a restocking fee equal to our shipping costs.
Payment: please pay via PayPal within 3 days of the auction’s close. Please do not bid if you do not intend to pay. If you have not made other arrangements and you have not paid within 3 days of the close of the auction an unpaid case will be opened. For those of you who do not sell on eBay that is because as a seller we are charged final value fees on the sold item, no matter whether it’s been paid for. Thus, if you win and do not pay it costs us real cash.
Any props or measuring devices in the photo are not included unless specifically mentioned in the listing. That includes things such as coins, rulers, hangers, shoe trees, or whatever it is that is appropriate to help photograph and display the item for sale. Please also note that the way that color displays on different monitors is different, and the pictures are affected by the light when the photos are taken. As the result of regrettable behavior by a very small number of eBay buyers, if you have a feedback score as a buyer of less than 10 please contact us first prior to bidding or your bid is subject to being canceled.  If you have previously won one of our auctions and have failed to pay, please do not bid.
Shipping: We are happy to combine shipping costs where feasible on multiple wins within a 7-day period – but you must expressly ask if the items close more than 2 days apart. In such a circumstance please message us of your intent and *do not pay* until you are done winning auctions and then request an invoice. Shipping method will be either USPS, UPS or FedEx, depending on the item(s) purchased and other factors. If you do pay after winning multiple items without first requesting a combined item invoice the shipping may not get reduced appropriately. PLEASE NOTE that if you ask for something special, such as required signature at delivery, you must ask for that BEFORE you bid/make an offer. Certain things on shipping cost more money. If you ask for something special after you have bid/made an offer/won an item your bid is subject to either a surcharge for that request or cancellation.
Regarding shipping time: the vast majority of the time shipping will be same day or next day. However — because we don’t have a store we can’t set an “away” marker on our listings when we’re unable to ship immediately for whatever reason (but mostly because of work travel). Changing every listing every time shipping times are impacted is simply impractical. Thus, there is a longer shipping time listed than shipping will almost ever take. *If timing of shipping is of particular importance please reach out ahead of time to find out if shipping will be immediate or not.*
International shipping: Commonly we go through the eBay global shipping. In any event, the valuation on the package will be the winning bid. Please do not ask us to change that. If you do, we will cancel the bid and report it to eBay.  Furthermore many countries have what can only be described as odd import restrictions. In the event we go to the shipping page for, say, the US Postal Service, and it shows that the item to be sent is on the restricted list, we will cancel the transaction. If you purchase through an eBay site other than ebay.com so it does not calculate global shipping we may, in our discretion (and almost certainly will) cancel the transaction. We apologize for any inconvenience but it is the result of one truly horrific liar from the Italian site and we simply won’t go through that experience again.
