We care about our customers and their intended use of our sheepskin.
Several companies sell products that they describe as FLUFF, but they are faux FLUFF made from polyester, or wood cellulose products. Some of the FLUFF they sell even looks like cotton candy. Some of these same companies call their product WOOL, but it is not REAL wool from sheep. I’m sure if you study the packages of cotton balls sold at most stores, you will see they have no real cotton in them, instead being polyester balls.
So be sure to read the content labels on the other products before you buy.
Our product is REAL WOOL, trimmed to a one-inch wool length. In some cases no longer or different then the fur of the very animals it is used to comfort.
We honor the value of what it takes to get real sheepskin. Out of respect for the animals and the environment we strive to find ways to NOT let anything go to waste. We take the time to hand-brush the short, loose fibers off the sheepskin products we make. We save the wool and sell it here for small mammal bedding. It is also very popular as bird nesting material.
We make all our products for the comfort of humans, horses and pets. Our wool is certified for use in the medical industry, having passed the stringent testing of the International Wool Bureau. It has been proven to help heal bedsores and promote healthier rest.
